Spending Presidents Day Speaking to an Elon University iMedia Class

I’m excited to announce that I will be speaking to an Interactive Media class at Elon University this Monday!

Thanks to my presentation at Raleigh SEO Meetup last fall on the topic of Online Reputation Management (ORM), I was invited to speak to Associate Professor Amanda Sturgill’s iMedia class. Ms. Strugill teaches her undergraduate and graduate students how to use strategy to create great content. With a passion for new technologies and social media, more specifically how the two combine to create the kind of content that leads to conversion for business and nonprofits alike, Ms. Strugill’s students benefit from her teachings. I have been asked to present how ORM plays a role in the overall success of that content.

From the official Elon website

Elon’s 10-month, full-time program prepares graduates to think strategically across media platforms; plan and create interactive media content consisting of text, images, sounds, video and graphics; and manage information for interactive news, entertainment and persuasive communications.

Students learn from award-winning professors, build their own interactive media projects in state-of-the-art facilities, and help chart the future of media communication. All in less than a year. All at Elon.

Stay tuned for a recap from this speaking engagement! I’m sure I will have much to talk about afterwords.
