Giving Thanks to the Ladies of “Triangle Ladies Who Tweet”

On November 17th the Ladies of the Triangle met for our 2nd “Triangle Ladies Who Tweet” event and because of their generosity once again, I must give them all a great deal of THANKS for contributing to the November Event’s charity of choice – The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.  Thanks to these wonderful women, I was able to deliver a whole car load of non-perishable foods & necessities to the organization last week, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

“Triangle Ladies Who Tweet” stemmed from an idea as the summer of 2009 drew to a close.  With over 50 Triangle area professional women who “Tweet” (or use Twitter as a form of communication and relationship-building) in attendance at our first event in September, the November get-together was just as successful.  The ladies who attend get the opportunity to meet with those they Tweet with, bounce ideas off each other, and connect in such a way that only enhances their online relationships. It’s a casual, productive, and, hopefully, a FUN event!

Our next one will be held in January.  Date, time, and location to be determined.  Stay tuned to this blog or follow the Twitter hashtag #TLWT or me, Lisa Sullivan, on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/lisasullivan for updates.

In the meantime, enjoy the photo stream of both “Triangle Ladies Who Tweet” events from September & November 2009 – http://www.flickr.com/photos/lisa_a_sullivan/sets/72157622319385062/

I wish you & yours a very Happy Holiday season.

Be BLESSED!

Lisa 🙂
