I am happy to announce that the charity selected for “Triangle Ladies Who Tweet” is Abbeygail’s Re-Chic Boutique, a partnership with the Women’s Center of Wake County. Abbeygail’s accepts donations of gently-used professional women’s clothing that will benefit women who are making the transition back into the working world from what often times are difficult circumstances.
For Tuesday night, September 6th – dig through your closets, Ladies! If you have anything professional that you no longer wear (blouses, skirts, dresses, jackets, suits, pants, etc.) or accessories (scarves, shoes, bags, etc.) plan to bring them to High Five. We’ll collect and take them to Abbeygail’s later in the week.
If you wish to receive a receipt for your donation, please visit Abbeygail’s at 5205 Hillsborough St, Raleigh Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6pm to drop off your donations then. Their staff will be happy to provide you a receipt with your donation.
This is truly a worthwhile cause and I urge every lady in attendance to bring something. Remember, our event is not only supposed to be about us. Let’s give back to other ladies in our community that are less fortunate than we!
Reminder: If you have NOT registered for “Triangle Ladies Who Tweet” yet, you MUST @lisasullivan to consider your registration valid. There are ONLY 12 spots left!
More to come in the next few days. Stay tuned!
